NY-11, Oriole, was built for Lyman Delano, but purchased by Samuel C. Pirie of Sea Cliff, L.I. in 1917, who raced her until the day he died in August 1938 at the end of a day's run of the NYYC Cruise returning to Newport, RI. In recent years, she was given a full restoration at William Cannell Boatbuilding in Camden, Maine. She is currently owned by Jean-Pierre Lostis who races her in the Med.
